SOCIÉTÉ SAUMON DE LA RIVIÈRE ROMAINE (SSRR)
As part of the Romaine River hydroelectric complex development, Hydro-Québec is committed to establishing a plan, with the participation of local community representatives, to restore the Romaine River salmon population over a 20-year period. In order to develop and carry out the salmon restoration plan, the Société saumon de la rivière Romaine (SSRR) was created with representatives of Hydro-Québec, the Innu of Ekuanitshit and citizens of the Minganie RCM. As a non-profit organization, the SSRR has entrusted the Fédération québécoise pour le saumon atlantique (FQSA) with the management of its administrative services.
