Memberships

Pass purchase

Access passes are available at the main visitor centre in Bonaventure on Rue Beauséjour.

 

Access passes are also available at:

  • The 1re Est visitor center on the river at the beginning of sector D;
  • The service outlet:
    • in Saint-Alphonse on Rue Saint-Alphonse;
    • in New Richmond on Chemin St-Edgar via Highway 132.

Here are the Association des pêcheurs sportifs de la Bonaventure draw rules:

General regulations

  • A maximum of 1 entry is allowed per angler/river. The entrant’s name may only appear once as the pass holder and once as a guest.
  • The fee is $2.00 per entry.
  • Entrants must complete only one entry form per draw. Forms must be legible, accurate, and without missing information, failing which the form will be disqualified without reimbursement. Staff will not fill in missing information.
  • Draws are held at the association office at 10 a.m., two days (48 hours) before the day of fishing.
  • Winners may reserve for a maximum of 2 rods, depending on availability. Reservations made following a draw are nontransferable.
  • Winners have until 9 a.m. the day after the draw to pay for their passes, after which their passes will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.

  • Entrants must complete only one entry form per draw. Forms must be legible, accurate, and without missing information, failing which the form will be disqualified without reimbursement. Staff will not fill in missing information.
  • Mailed or faxed entries must be received by 12 noon on October 31.
  • Photocopies on the same size paper are also accepted.

How to subscribe to this draw

Winners list

  • The draw will take place at the corporation office or any other location determined by the corporation’s board of directors.
  • An individual’s name may only appear once on the list of winners for a given river.
  • Entrants are responsible for checking the list of winners.
  • The list of winners is available at the association visitors centre.

 

RESERVATION

  • Winners may reserve up to two (2) consecutive or nonconsecutive days of fishing (2 rods per day).
  • Phone calls to winners:
    • If the first winner’s line is busy, the second winner on the list is called, after which the first winner is called back. After each call down the list, the previous names for which no answer was received are called again in order.
    • If there is no answer during the telephone reservation period and the reservation is not made by the person designated as the replacement, the registration will be maintained. On the Monday following the reservations, a letter will be sent to the entrant, informing them that they have fifteen (15) days to choose from the remaining places.
  • Pre-season reservation holders cannot transfer their reservation to a third party.
  • A reservation will be cancelled if :
    • The deadline for receiving 30% of the payment is not met.
    • The deadline for receiving 70% of the payment is not met.

 

ACCESS PASSES

  • A guest will only receive a pass once the holder of the pre-season reservation has received theirs.

January 15* Reservations by telephone for rods still available after pre-season draw:
- 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., reserved for non-winning entrants in the November 1 draw
- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., open to all
February 1* Deadline for payment of 30% of the cost of reservations made on January 8 (nonrefundable).

 April 1

Deadline for payment of 70% of the cost of reservations made after the pre-season draws on November 1 and January 8. Reservations will be cancelled if payment deadlines are not met.
