Relations with First Nations
AN IMPORTANT PARTNERSHIP
We are enthusiastic about our collaborations with several First Nations organizations, notably in educational projects, such as the Histoire de saumon program, but also for scientific projects to acquire knowledge on rivers, characterize habitats and restore salmon populations.
The community around salmon
Saumon Québec is a name that unites anglers, scientists and river managers.
It's a community formed through participation in events such as the PALM Festival and the Forum des savoirs sur le saumon atlantique, or by sharing knowledge through the podcast, web activities and annual mentorships.
